Gypsy von Gommern is a gorgeous 5-year-old German Shepherd. Always happy to come out of the kennels, this big girl is our intrepid explorer who enjoys new sights and sounds. Gypsy does wonderfully on leash – not much pulling once she settles in, and she has tremendous leash manners. With a low-to-medium energy level, this no-nonsense gal enjoys meeting and playing with other calm dogs, but she’d like to steer clear of the pushy pups – she’ll stiffen up and growl when she’s challenged by an overconfident dog. Gypsy enjoys being petted and can show tremendous affection; however, she struggles with corrections when training – until trust is built, she can redirect.  Gypsy comes with a free training session when adopted and will need an experienced shepherd owner to help her complete her journey to being the great girl we know she is.
